ICANN has a diverse international representation of various sectors such as the private sectors, the governement and consumer interests. It was ultimately established to allocate and provide a formal strucutre domain name system management. 

Trend of the gradual rise of mobile commerce (m-commerce).

This image shows Amazon's homepage from 2011. We can see that the appearance of the homepage is much better than from its eralier years in 1999. There are also devices that had not been advertised in the past showcased on the homepage.

The trend shows that the e-commerce growth rate is about twice the growth rate of retail sales.  Even during the recession in 2008/2009, e-commerce sales had a growth rate above that of retail.  This could be caused by the convenience of e-commerce that allows people to shop from home and compare prices without having to drive to several different stores.

This image is a chart of the estimated U.S. sales in percentage from 1999-2007. The chart shows how the percent of retail has increased dramatically since the early beginnings of the internet. 

Increasing gas prices seems to correlate with increasing e-tail sales and could be one of the many factors as to why e-commerce is getting popular.  There is a significant increase in e-tail sales during the fourth quarter due to Christmas shopping, but we can see the steady increase of e-tail sales over time when comparing the same quarter each year.

AP reported today that thousands of fish died just last week in the Midwestern United States because the heat wave made the rivers too hot. At the same time a leading scientist said statistical analysis confirms the blistering heat is a result of climate change.

As well as the number as the damage amounts increased in the last 30 year. Reaching a total damage of 200 billion dollars in 2011 (about 1.3% of the US gross domestic product)
