Description

Chief Scientist, SDSU Viz Lab
Putting the Earth online is one of John Graham's most important ambitions as Chief Scientist of the San Diego State University's Visualization Center. The SDSU Visualization Center is a sister facility to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography Visualization Center at UCSD. The centers have and will be used for research of Earth Science fields such as environmental change, seismicity, climatological change, and natural disasters.

Preliminary and developing utilities of these centers include areas of medical and pharmaceutical research, performing arts, as well as command-and-control functions for crisis response in cases like Hurricane Katrina and the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami which devastated Thailand and Indonesia.
