On September 12 we will be phoning SD350 members to let people know about the campaign to defeat Measure A, find out their awareness and thoughts on this measure to help determine our approach going forward, and identify volunteers to help in the campaign.

Measure A is one of the ballot measures that we will be voting on in November. It is sponsored by SANDAG, the San Diego Association of Governments. If it passes, it will increase our sales tax by half a cent for 40 years to pay for a grab bag of different projects that won’t address climate change and won’t move us to a 21st century transportation system that prioritizes transit.

SD350 is part of the Quality of Life Coalition that is opposed to the ballot measure and is working to defeat it. We hope that you will join us in voting against it and help us get the word out to others.
